Keep us up to date on the practical details for your team with the Team Details spreadsheet. Here you can let us know what problem your team chooses, when you get your volunteer clearances, who your judges are and more. Please fill out any missing info for your team as and when you have it. Thank you!

Important: USCSD requires volunteers who work directly with students to obtain clearances. Be sure to visit the district website for instructions on how to secure your clearances asap.

 

TEAM FINANCES:

Here's how to handle your team’s registration fees:

  1. Identify which coach will be the team’s Finance Manager.

  2. All parents pay their $175 registration fee per child to that coach.

  3. The coach writes one team check payable to USCSD (Memo: Odyssey of the Mind) for $100 x each team member.

  4. Send your team check to Shanna Caplan, USC OOTM Treasurer, 1715 Partridge Run Road, 15241 by Nov. 5.

  5. The coach keeps the remaining $75 per team member to use as team funds.

EXAMPLE: For a team of 7 students, $700 will go to USCSD in the form of a check, and $525 will be kept for the team funds. To help manage your team's funds, below is a downloadable spreadsheet with fields that automatically calculate totals:
